A celebration of strength, skill and sporting excellence. The Inter-Command Women Wrestling & Boxing Competition concluded at Frontier Headquarters Gujarat with athletes from the Eastern and Western Commands putting up an impressive performance.

Sh Abhishek Pathak, IPS, IG, Gujarat Frontier, graced the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest and declared the competition closed.

The championship witnessed commendable determination, discipline and sportsmanship, reflecting the strength and resilience of BSF women athletes.

After three days of spectacular and thrilling football matches, marked by outstanding talent, determination and true sportsmanship, the #Spandan League District-Level Football Tournament 2026 successfully concluded today, 27 August 2026, at the BSF Campus, Gandhinagar.

Featuring six competitive teams from the Gandhinagar region, the tournament provided a vibrant platform for young footballers to showcase their skills, competitive spirit and sporting excellence.

To honour their exceptional performances, championship trophies, medals and special individual awards were presented to the finalists and outstanding players of the tournament.

More than medals, the championship celebrates the grit, resilience and sporting excellence of BSF women warriors.

On 25 August 2026, #BSF Gujarat conducted the Opening Ceremony of the Spandan League District-Level (Junior Category) Football Tournament, being held from 25 to 27 Aug 2026, in association with the Sports Authority of India (SAI) at the BSF Campus, Gandhinagar.

The tournament was inaugurated by Shri Abhishek Pathak, IPS, IG, Gujarat Frontier, BSF, who encouraged the young footballers to pursue excellence through sports and uphold the values of discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.

The event highlighted the significant role of sports in promoting national unity, peace, harmony, and nation-building among the youth.

On the 80th Independence Day of India, BSF Gujarat celebrated the spirit of freedom, unity, and patriotism across the Frontier, from Ftr HQ Gandhinagar to the farthest Border Out Posts. The Tricolour fluttered proudly, symbolising the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the unwavering dedication of Seema Praharis who continue to safeguard the nation under challenging conditions.

At #SeemaDarshanNadabet, Shri Abhishek Pathak, IPS, Inspector General, BSF Gujarat Frontier, paid homage to the heroes of the freedom struggle and lauded the commitment and professionalism of BSF personnel. Reaffirming the motto “जीवन पर्यंत कर्तव्य”, he reiterated BSF’s steadfast resolve to protect the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity while contributing towards the vision of a strong, secure, and prosperous #ViksitBharat.

The Yatra was flagged off by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Harsh Sanghavi, symbolising unity and national pride.

The BSF Band enthralled the gathering with stirring patriotic melodies, while the disciplined march-past drew enthusiastic applause and showcased the spirit of service and dedication of the force.

The Yatra was graced by Shri Bhupendra Bhai Patel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, as the Chief Guest, with Shri Harsh Sanghavi, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, joining the celebrations, further amplifying the spirit of patriotism and national pride.

The stirring tunes of the BSF Band and the impressive march-past by the BSF contingent reflected discipline, unity and national pride, inspiring the gathering with the spirit of patriotism.

Through this spirited display, BSF sought to inspire citizens to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it with pride, while fostering the enduring spirit of patriotism, unity, and national pride.

Aligned with the theme “𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱. 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀.”,100 BSF personnel voluntarily donated blood, reflecting the Force's unwavering commitment to humanitarian service, public welfare, and nation-building.

विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस” – 05 जून 2026

विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर #BSFGujarat द्वारा गांधीनगर परिसर सहित विभिन्न यूनिटों/मुख्यालयों में वृक्षारोपण अभियान आयोजित किया गया।

“प्रकृति से प्रेरित। जलवायु के लिए। हमारे भविष्य ���े लिए।” थीम के अनुरूप कुल 6,750 पौधों का रोपण किया गया। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य पर्यावरण संरक्षण, प्रदूषण नियंत्रण, जलवायु परिवर्तन की रोकथाम, जैव विविधता संरक्षण, वृक्षारोपण को बढ़ावा देना तथा आने वाली पी��़ियों के लिए स्वच्छ एवं सुरक्षित पर्यावरण सुनिश्चित करना है।

यह पहल पर्यावरण संरक्षण, पारिस्थितिक संतुलन एवं हरित भविष्य के प्रति BSF की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है।
