To be clear, no sarcasm: it's a good writeup, very informative and objective, with amazing photos. And it lays out Bellevue like a spatchcocked chicken.

@UPS: We changed your delivery date.
Me: Sorry, I won't be home on the new date.
UPS: No worries, you can just pay us $9.99 to go back to the original delivery date! Or $19.99/year for unlimited extortion!
@FloatingToHome@MikeLindblom@TransLink There is a lot more to the "transit focused/mixed use neighborhood" than just the train, yes. But Sound Transit is funding ~1% of this. I assume it's the "transit focused" part, because this neighborhood is dominated by the train.
You have a mission, but no point.
@FloatingToHome@MikeLindblom To be clear, this is Page 7. Yes, it's about the 116th to 124th sections. Both of these sections sit on, above, and around Sound Transit infrastructure. Why do you believe 1% of funding is a misuse of transit dollars? You need more than a brochure to support this accusation.
@FloatingToHome@MikeLindblom Page 7 is about building NE Spring Boulvard, a street that has a Sound Transit train running down the middle. It's a $99.6mm project, Sound Transit is supplying $1.09mm. And you're assuming that this 1% isn't being directly spent on transit infrastructure?
Good story on NPR about narrow lanes being safer. A past president of @ITEhq disagrees, saying drivers have "so much to think about" when they're going 35 MPH. And what are they thinking about? Their iPhones?
Force drivers to pay attention to driving!

Hey @BvueTrans, Kirkland’s good work is just going to increase the noise pollution and dangerous driving in Bellevue. Please be proactive and do the same.
We’ve been working on a new project called Bike Bellevue. It aims to implement bicycle network improvements in the city's urban core & we want to know what you think of the proposed bike lane designs! The online engagement tool is live until Nov. 17 at https://t.co/OeTJuDVPNY
