This is why I am so scared to start doing ASMR even though I REALLY want to.

I have over $1k in ASMR audio equipment thats never been used! Even if you make a separate channel- if you get caught in a ban ALL of your channels are gone. Forever. Youtube needs to fix their AI.

Just remember that no matter what, please don't let this slow you down as a creator. You are amazing, no matter what injustices a platform may push on our industry. Some of the biggest in our field have gone through channel deletions, bans, strikes, and more. If it didn't slow them down, it shouldn't stop you either!! ❤️

Woke up this morning to see several Vtubers Youtube Channels outright terminated. Is there a ban wave going on or something?

Youtube has a history of wrongful strikes and/or terminations left to an automated system that doesn't know what it's doing. Trying to appeal offers no real help and will be denied quickly by this same system.

YT is breaking down wttfff 😫I saw everyones channel's getting striked/banned, I don't have any carrd/linktree/patreon ever linked there just kick but I still removed that this morning to be safe and yet suddenly now all my ASMR videos are now marked as not appropriate for ads??? If you are a VTuber OR flesh tuber that has any blue site or lewd sites attached to your carrd or external websites, go and unlink that website a.s.a.p. The new AI ban wave is targeting the external links you've attached to your YouTube channel.

After some research on this, YouTube's AI is extended beyond the metadata of a video, and unfortunately it IS covered in their ToS that they can do this and it not be a wrongful termination.

My suggestion would be to not link any websites that lead to any 18+ websites on your channel!

Absolutely absurd that YouTube deleted the channels of several ASMR creators this week without warning or thorough explanation.

These channels were supposedly deleted for "sexually gratifying" content in their videos, but this rarely seems to have been accurate.

Seems like the amount of people whose channel got banned unfairly is way bigger than I thought
