@KeystoneSchools These fifth graders are soaring on the ukulele! Now that they've learned 3 chords (C, F, and Am), they're starting to do some fun play-alongs! I'm so impressed with their perseverance when playing this new instrument!
@KeystoneSchools KES fifth graders are learning how to finger and play the C chord on their ukuleles this week! Their focus and excitement to play the ukuleles is so fun to see!
5th graders are working on a solfege --> color-coding--> pitch naming--> writing on a staff--> playing on a pitched instrument multi-week project! Taking it step by step and it is all making musical sense!
These second graders were beyond excited to learn this folk dance called Sashay the Donut! 🍩 One student said that she didn't want the day to end because she kept wanting to dance and another student asked if we could do it the next time! I think I can arrange that!!😀

2nd graders practice listening to others and playing an instrument to a percussion play-along called Bear Dance by Carl Orff. So fun!! Look at that concentration!🤓
