I’d really recommend this conversation between Bourdieu and Eagleton. My biggest take aways were Bourdieu’s proud insistence that domination happens, often, below conscious belief -in the body, habit, accent, confidence and “what ‘feels’ natural”- and Eagleton’s instinctive++

@EosFantom I watched ghost in the shell 1995, it’s hand-drawn and heavily based on hong kong. I looked up the cityscape and found interviews with people from KWC after that, that they still dream about it. also ty for reading

thanks for the replies everyone, i know the answer is a bit obvious but i just have a huge case of writer’s block after putting out a collection. i feel like i’ve mined all the imagery i had and i don’t want to steal from other people’s poetry
