The only reason I commented on this octopus design was to try to gently warn the artist that armbands on military outfits can be tone deaf at best and insidious at worst.

@Man25Monster @o___8 As far as recolored and fantasy-flavored nazis, AoT is about as obvious as it can possibly get without saying it out loud.

So “but no one blinked an eye at this either” doesn’t convince me of anything besides the general audience’s inability to read between the lines
