APC RELEASES TIMETABLE FOR 2027 GENERAL ELECTIONS

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the 2027 General Elections.

This is contained in the Schedule of Activities signed by the Party’s National Organising Secretary, His Excellency Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR. The timetable outlines, among other activities, timelines for screening, appeals, and primary elections, as well as directives on the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms.

The APC reassures members, stakeholders, and Nigerians of its commitment to conducting a credible and transparent primary election that will further strengthen the Party’s internal democracy and consolidate its progressive ideals.

The Chairman of the APC National Convention Central Coordination Committee, H.E. (Rt. Hon.) Aminu Bello Masari, CFR, has submitted the final report of the Party’s 8th National Convention to the National Working Committee (NWC), formally bringing to a close the planning and execution of one of the APC’s most significant internal gatherings.

Receiving the document on Thursday at the Party’s National Secretariat, the National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, praised the committee’s work, stating that the report will serve as a working document to further refine the Party’s operational strategy.

Titus Zam: Why Natasha Akpoti wasn’t invited to north central commission budget defence

Titus Zam, senator representing Benue north-west and chairman of the senate committee on the north central development commission (NCDC), says Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is not a member of the panel and was not invited to its budget defence session.

On Monday, there was mild drama in the senate when Akpoti-Uduaghan protested her alleged exclusion from the NCDC committee.

The Kogi lawmaker arrived at the committee meeting prepared to participate but found her name missing from the attendance list.
