I actually don't give 2 , about how the Royals live/sublet crown property. But it really gets my goat when elected officials (MP) use every trick to maximise, 2nd house (to let to family/staff) and declare we're operating within parliament ethics/guidance

Absolutely sums it up for me.
Happy for diversity BUT it has to assimilate to the country belief. Can't go on the ale in Saudi, so why is this govt bending over backwards to appease a 6 century attitude? What are the women they bring over thinking about the freedoms?

Never forget who Keir Starmer picked for Home Secretary.
UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood once enthusiastically supported a boycott that forced a Sainsbury’s store to close because it sold Israeli goods. She praised the “positive atmosphere” of the anti-Israel protest.

This is not harmless. It is active support for the economic warfare Hamas and Hezbollah wage against the Jewish state.

The real objective has never been “Free Palestine.” It has always been the elimination of Israel along with its entire Jewish population.

With antisemitism surging in Britain, is she fit to oversee the country’s security and immigration policy?

Shabana Mahmood did not simply express an opinion. She actively participated in efforts to economically damage Israeli businesses and celebrated when a British supermarket was forced to shut down.

This is the same woman now responsible for policing, counter-terrorism, border control, and protecting British citizens from rising antisemitic violence.

This appointment reveals
everything about Keir Starmer’s priorities. He chose someone with a record of supporting boycotts against the Jewish state at a time when Jewish communities in Britain are facing unprecedented levels of intimidation and attack. Someone who once stood with those trying to isolate and weaken Israel is now in charge of keeping Britain safe.

Shabana Mahmood has CONDEMNED the Henry Nowak protests in Southampton, saying those responsible will be arrested.

Meanwhile, here she is on a pro-Palestine protest which turned violent and forced a supermarket to close.
