We're smaller than gorillas, bigger than chimps, worse than both. For all our rationality, rules and laws, our basic instincts are still straight out of the jungle.
@vivbajaj Looks like in this era of aggregation where the largest at the top plays & pays the the rest for a pittance, some of the players with the deepest pockets are aggregating the salami losses of the rest into huge mega profits for themselves.
@WeekendInvestng The greed in the market competition has done away with consumer is King adage, more so as India's per capita & buying power exists in two different spectrum. That's why we see price regulations.
@GabbbarSingh True that long distance road travel has become very good, safe and comfortable in india. But it is not used daily by most city dwellers.

entry-level IAS/UPSC officers, over a standard service tenure of 36 years, goes through roughly 7 to 8 major career promotions (1 every 4 yrs).

Decisions gone wrong or seen as vested results in obstacles in career progression.
Sychopancy & palming becomes the rule rather the exception like @Tukaram_IndIAS & such few others.
Sir, Drug safety definitely is about files, inspections or statistics,
Request you to look into linkages between the multiple newage costly infant vaccinations & the exponential rise in our children afflicted with Autism,ADHD,Aspergers between 2 & 5yr.

Maharashtra shows the Way
Food safety is ultimately about people, not files, inspections or statistics.
Every safe meal is a family protected. Every action against unsafe food is a step towards protecting someoneโs health, dignity and future.
Maharashtraโs experience reminds us that governance earns peopleโs trust when purpose is clear, action is fair, and compassion remains at the heart of enforcement.
Public service is, at its core, about standing with people; especially when they need the system most.

The most expensive advice one can receive is FREE advice.
In the stock market this advice is either hindsight bias, weather-cock bias or validity bias (ie coming from a person who enjoys a reputation in the market).
