Yesterday at the ReformUK conference we watched the Trump MAGA playbook arrive in Birmingham.

Supporters interviewed on camera saying they would not care if Nigel Farage broke the law.

Women protesters dragged out of the hall, one describing her hair being pulled and a boot on her head.

A memorandum of understanding with a French opposition party dressed up as if France had already signed a returns treaty.

And a leader threatening to pack the House of Lords with hundreds of loyalists if the constitution got in his way.

The real threat is not that Britain is being replaced by immigrants. It is that we are being sold a politics that treats institutions as obstacles, facts as optional, and the country as a prize for the highest bidder.

That is not taking our country back. That is importing someone else’s circus.
