This past weekend the Eckert Lab attended and presented at the Western Society of Naturalists’ annual conference and had a blast diving, talking science, and collaborating with fellow scientists!
So excited to be at my first WSN presenting results from my PhD! Was lucky to kick off the conference yesterday with a dive charter off Anacapa Island #WSN2022

I am recruiting a M.S. student to join my lab at @UAFcfos, for a fully-funded graduate research assistantship.
The student will explore the use of spatio-temporal methods for generating abundance indices that leverage data from multiple trawl and fixed gear surveys in Alaska.
