Nigeria Police operatives have arrested three suspected armed røbbers yesterday, in Asaba, Delta State.

The suspects were arrested by operatives attached to DOPS 001 along Toskana Hotel Road, Asaba, on June 12, 2026, while in possession of a pistol.

According to the report, the three young men were inside a commercial tricycle (keke), with another individual riding it, and were allegedly robbing pedestrians of their phones along the road.

They reportedly attempted to escape when they sighted a police patrol van, but were chased and apprehended by the operatives.
