...if I can't get it right, I want to screw it up a way that allows me to maximize how much I can learn about it in one fell swoop. I'll take a long time, and try a million different things, so that I come to appreciate all the nuance.
I just want to get it right. Whatever I'm doing, I want to do it justice as an artform. Because there's an art to everything. And I feel the need to honor that to the best of my ability. I should do the best version of that artform I can.
Buuuuut....
I love the notion of the "marketplace" of ideas. There's so much variety & action: discussion, innovation, negotiation, valuation, trends, profit & loss. It's exciting.
But when the variety is gone and the only actions are attacks--that's not a marketplace, it's a battlefield.
A message I want to share with adults who work with #ADHD kids is: pushing them the way that you push neurotypical kids harms them for life.
