My dude. As a day gig for two years in the 80’s I was Scheduling Secretary for Democratic US Senator Alan Cranston. @joshhhhh2111 Don’t be afraid to be “interviewing” the therapist in the first session. Make sure it’s a good long term fit. I cut my first two therapists off at 30 minutes because it obviously wasn’t a fit-one was way younger and didn’t have similiar life experiences, other was not attentive

@joshhhhh2111 Therapy is great. If you don’t have a good connection after the first one or two meetings, don’t be afraid to switch. It’s a pain, but finding a therapist that you trust, that challenges you and that you connect with is priceless and can literally change your life.
