What's the collective noun for a bunch of math teachers? A "set" of math teachers? A "class" or "classroom" of math teachers? A "department" of math teachers?
Whichever way, I am blessed to work with such a great department!

The 4-part secret to high school:
1. Show up on time every day and sit in the front half of the room
2. Turn in your homework on time
3. Take advantage of all opportunities presented to you by teachers
4. Laugh at your teachers’ bad jokes
Gmorning, ya dreamboat.
Now when I call you a dreamboat it's not to be CUTE,
it's because you are a gliding vessel for the dreams of everyone who loves you, with your own dreams guiding the ship
But also you're hella cute, ya dreamboat. Safe passage today.
Most great teachers didn’t start out that way! But...
1) They reflected on what worked and what didn’t.
2) They learned from their colleagues.
3) They always kept their focus on the students.
EVERY teacher can be a better teacher!
Fostering relationships with students who seem consistently disenfranchised is a matter of being relentless about having short, positive interactions with them.
You didn’t become a teacher to be average. You didn’t become an admin to maintain the status quo. You aren’t in education to be “good enough.” No! You’re here because you are committed to being the best- the best you can be for kids, families, and communities. So be great!
It’s only a matter of time until employers realize the Myers-Briggs types are meaningless and then only a matter of a little more time until they’re replaced by Harry Potter houses
