Seeing how much the world accepts that it’s impossible to move on after watching CPR really makes me think about how we (medical professionals, especially those who work in Emergency departments) are expected to just move on immediately after a code.

@from_bedside #TweetRN A4: I teach new critical care nurses that we as nurses are the master coordinators of care. We communicate, collaborate, and insure the safety of our patients as they are being seen and cared for by multiple disciplines and specialities!
@from_bedside A1: I view this as part of my scope of practice as a nurse. For a variety of interventions I need to collaborate with a provider. Sometimes I follow an order and sometimes I clarify or obtain a new order that best meets the needs of my patient.
