@FireIceWizard @ThatMumboJumbo Yep, this is the southern "tail end" of lake lucerne, right before the gotthard pass. I’ve been through that exact tunnel before :-)
@MIC_btc@SteB777 "Tacking on fees for imagined problems is a perfect solution." - Casually weaving lies into your supposed argument against elitism is also a quite impressive manipulation of public consensus 👍
Supreme Court:
“You are forbidden from regulating:
*Poisons in the air or water
*Guns in your community
*Rules that protect your environment
*Efforts to stop climate change
“You may regulate:
*Women’s uteruses”
@WeDontHaveTime Why are so many science deniers and conspiracy mythologists behaiving like immature kids and spreading lies in the reply section? Reading these comments here makes me sick 🤮
I’ll repeat this: anyone who thinks there is an identity group called “the unvaccinated” who deserve some sort of rights and protection needs to be asked if they feel the same about those other well-known identity groups, “haven’t paid their taxes” and “driving without a licence”
@thyme2pley@KaKaysKreations@docm77 It's not just PHD guys making random statements. The effects of greenhouse-gases have been well known for over a century now and measurements have shown a rise in co2 concentration and temperature over the last years. And you claim that no empirical evidence exists ...
@docm77 The dangerous part I think is when believing in conspiracy theories gets so common that it creates a universal mistrust i.a. of science that then trickles down to decision making in politics. The effect is well visible in our current situation.
Time is always moving on; nothing can stop it. We can't change the past, but we can learn from it to shape the future. Stress on ‘us’ and ‘them’ is a source of conflict. We neglect basic human qualities of kindness and compassion. Let’s work together to create a happier future.
@mtndewme251 @izzzeplays@docm77 The point is that being able to buy semi-automatic mashineguns in a supermarket makes spontaneous mass killing relatively easy.
I think that has nothing anymore to do with self defence so there is no reason of having easy access to these types of weapons.
