I am also pretty traumatised from the whole experience.
It was pure luck Doccy didn't get hurt more badly. I have a hard time stopping my thoughts of "what if".

I might need some time to find my mojo again.

One positive note.

When I was at the sports doctor this morning to check on my calf, he said after comparing muscle tonus that I was "extremely athletic" lol.
He asked if I currently compete in any professional sports such as biking?

Lol. Bruh, should have seen my prime..

First diagnosis. Ruptured inner calf muscle, probably completely torn off at the upper ligament.

Will have MRT in the afternoon for further examination.

Doccy is ok. No pain. Will go to the doc for post surgery inspection with them this afternoon.

What a fucked up day. But main thing is, the cuts didn't hit any nerves, tendons or bigger blood vessels. Doccy had a guardian angel.

I will try to get back to the grind as soon as I can, but also need to get my calf checked out.

I am alone with Doccy atm as mum is out of town.

@zenDevNomad Brih, they gorgot to tell the doc. He comes in asking why we are still here. Gives me letter, quick info, done in a minute. Then the port for infusion is still there. I ask, he says nurse will come and remove it. After an hour, I rang. The just changed shift and she didn't know

After Doccy could leave, nobody showed up for 1 hour, so I rang for a nurse. They forgot to inform the doctor to come for the final post surgery talk.

It was a disaster. Hell on earth. Now we are home and Doccy sleeps. I never felt mote horrible in my life.

Only when Doccy was taken care of, I felt the pain.

I will go to the sports doc tomorrow, reckon will have a cast for a few weeks.

Had a torn muscle before, acl is ok i think.

Also, hospitals are hell.

They literally forgot about Doccy 3 times because their orga is useless.

Ol, now I can tell you the reason for it.

I was just in the hospital with Doccy for 10 hours. They had an accident and badly cut up both of their hands.

Had to have emergency surgery but is ok now. No nerve damage.

I tore my calf jumping over a car to get to Doccy.

I had to limp back to the reception 3 times, until finally things started moving.

Then when Doccy was in the wake up room, they forgot to inform me while I was in panic wondering why the surgery took so long. Thank god I made it just in time for Doccy to wake up.
