You know, agile was always a good term and a good movement until suddenly various industry for-profits peed in the pool. Now nobody wants to go swim there, and maybe we need to pave it over as a parking lot.
The agile movement was started by developers for developers. The project managers invaded the Agile movement very early on. They were attracted by the shiny object of scrum master certification. Their influence was catastrophic.
But the worse catastrophe was the passivity of the developer community in allowing that deleterious influence to hold sway.

My 2-step goal-setting framework:
1. Pick an outcome I want to achieve
2. Change the goal from "I want to achieve X" to "I want to enjoy every second on the journey to achieving X."
95% of achieving goals is learning to cherish the journey & loving the monotonous consistency.
