GOLDEN CROSSING
Where morning crossed the sea.
The light came up slowly over Arniston that morning. It was not a dramatic sunrise at first, just a gradual loosening of the dark, the horizon warming little by little as the sea held on to the last traces of night.

Golden sunrise over Arniston’s fishing landing in the Western Cape, with the beacon silhouetted against dramatic clouds and textured waves rolling across the early morning sea.

Blue Encounter at Intaka Island, Cape Town. A malachite kingfisher cut across the still water just as a blue dragonfly rose into its path and escaped at the last moment. One of those brief wild moments that stays with you. #MalachiteKingfisher#BirdPhotography#CapeTownBirds
SUMMER LIGHT
A lone swimmer standing waist deep in calm turquoise water near Arniston, South Africa, with a small green fishing boat floating in the distance under a wide pale summer sky.
