Is it capital? Is it edge? Is it time?
Consistency? Knowing when to say no?

In any market, not just sports, a multitude of factors exist within the dance. These are all phenomenal answers. Keys that unlock different doors. Tools to execute a task.

But individually, none of these are the foundational answer.

What rest solidified within the core of profitability, and more importantly success in any endeavor you embark on - is assuming, embodying, and owning the identity that you are a WINNER.

Big loss or consecutive losses? And yet you still choose a calm spirit because you know you are a winner.

Huge payout or winning streak? And still, you choose a calm spirit because it is expected. You’re a winner. So naturally that’s how it plays out, correct?

Study any great from any field.
Champions, moguls, successful artist and profitable bettors and traders.

Have you really found one story where this current of energy does not flow through? Can you find me a man or woman who felt they were destined to fail that miraculously won on the long time horizon?

The common sports betting, “capper”, “let me sell you picks in perpetuity” industry has done a disservice to the average Joe. They have entirely skipped over the most important aspect required to make their clients not only be profitable, but find ALIGNMENT in their life beyond betting. And that is helping people develop their mindset.

What the f*** is sports betting for if it’s not about doing something with the profit? People have dreams and goals beyond just cashing tickets. Cashing tickets is just a means to an end. People want more time with their family, they want to be able to pay for their expenses, they want to pour cash flow into their projects, they want an extra couple grand in the bank for an unexpected expense. The list goes on.

And the truth is the most important things are not just picks and plays.

I am here to draw a line in the sand that we can use this sports betting industry to actually develop ourselves beyond just individuals sweating out bets and being stuck in a loop.

The most important thing that happens to you in a day is not sports betting. It’s family, health, your dreams and your goals. Sports betting is just a tool to expand the passions in your life.

Given the ebbs and flows of CFB, I imagine Oklahoma will find a way to find the end zone. Enough times to actually win, no. To salvage the seasons hopes, they absolutely should commit to Mateer’s strengths and not expect anything more from him.

The argument could be made for sure. Honestly though, whether it was Allar or Grunkemeyer, I don’t think it truly would have made a difference. Franklin failed to recruit some real WRs (or his WRs failed to materialize into what he assumed they could be) and they didn’t have explosive weapons. Franklin also was backed into a corner because the next step was beating Michigan, Ohio State or Oregon and he just couldn’t get the team over that hill consistently.

The whole Arch media thing that people are clearly taking note of now (post apology), is actually a really good synopsis of why I feel like this dude hasn’t ever really hit his rhythm.

Too much of a thermometer and not enough of a thermostat.

Arch strikes me as a real solid dude with the tangibles to be a great quarterback, but has suffered from not meeting expectations that other people set for him.
