Every time someone uses the term Nazi today to attack/discredit/smear someone, they lose the argument of ideas AND are being disrespectful to 6 million dead Jews and the gravity of the Holocaust.
🚨Senator Lindsey Graham is dead, his office has announced.
The Republican Senator from South Carolina was a key advocate of the Iran war and vocal supporter of the Gaza genocide. His office says he passed away from a sudden and brief illness on Saturday evening.
🇸🇩 🇦🇪 Nick Kristof, New York Times:
“Neither the Biden nor Trump administration was willing to offend the UAE by holding it accountable for what Washington described as the genocide unfolding in Sudan. Trump, whose family is enriched by business dealings with the UAE, is silent. So the slaughter continues.
The UAE even has a candidate for UN Secretary General, and people are too polite to point out that a country empowering mass atrocities might not be ideal for that role.”

🇺🇸 Sen. Chris Van Hollen said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is “simply lying” when he claimed there had been transparency around the killings of Americans in the occupied West Bank.
Van Hollen said 9 Americans, including Palestinian American Saif Musallet, have been killed by Israeli settlers or security forces over the past four years, with no justice served in any case. Musallet, 20, was beaten to death by settlers in July 2025.
🗞️ The 22-year-old son of Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, chair of the Democrats’ Senate campaign arm, has secured a $300 million valuation for a company built around one of crypto’s riskiest products, while his mother helps write the industry’s laws, the American Prospect reports.
🔹Theodore Gillibrand’s APEC raised $30 million to bring perpetual futures, casino-style contracts that let traders bet on stocks without owning them, from offshore crypto exchanges into U.S. equity markets, pending approval from the Trump administration’s crypto-friendly CFTC.
🔹His résumé includes a Stanford Review article urging passage of the GENIUS Act, the crypto industry’s biggest legislative win, which his mother co-authored. Sen. Gillibrand has received hundreds of thousands of dollars in crypto industry donations and is also negotiating the next deregulatory package with the White House.
🔹“I have no involvement in it whatsoever,” she said about the news, echoing the Trump family’s defense with World Liberty Financial, the report notes.
⭕️ New: Senior U.S. military commanders bypassed warnings that intelligence used to select some targets in Iran was “severely out of date” and approved strikes anyway, including the Feb. 28 attack that hit the Shajareh Tayyiba School in Minab, killing at least 168 children and 14 teachers, according to CNN, citing three sources familiar with the decision-making process.
The report says warnings that the intelligence “needed to be re-vetted” were overridden for “expediency” as commanders rushed to generate targets at the start of the war.
One source said officials “knew within days… how the mistake happened. It was obviously old info.” The White House said to CNN the investigation is “ongoing” and that “the United States does not target civilians.”
🚨 President Donald Trump said moments ago that he considers the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding (MOU) effectively over, accusing Iran of violating the understanding by launching attacks on ships and firing rockets during the funeral period.
Trump said the U.S. responded with strikes “20 times tougher” than Iran’s retaliation, adding: “Every time you hit, we hit.” He called Iranian leaders “evil” and “a cancer,” saying, “As far as I’m concerned, it’s over. I don’t want to deal with them anymore.”
But he added that if U.S. negotiators would like to still speak with Iran, he’d let them, though in his mind continuing talks with Iran was “just a waste of time.”
Note: Trump has repeatedly made sweeping claims, set deadlines for the US government that he routinely ignored, and alternated between threatening military action, including nuclear annihilation, and expressing openness to negotiations during the U.S.-Iran talks. It is unclear whether the comments today mark a potential end to the MOU or are simply a negotiating tactic following the latest escalation.
when I was in Michigan I met people who said the way for Abdul El-Sayed to beat Haley Stevens would be to just play her clip saying "Israel comes to me in my dreams" over and over. Now his campaign has built a website that does just that: https://t.co/2XVfKaCMFw

🚨 Latest Developments: Iran vows “crushing response” after U.S. launches strikes across southern Iran
➤ Iranian state media reported explosions across multiple strategic locations in southern Iran, including Sirik Port, Qeshm Island, Bandar Abbas, and Kharg Island, AJE reported.
➤ IRIB said “most of the attacks” struck civilian areas. Shrapnel at Sirik’s commercial pier reportedly wounded several people.
➤ Al Jazeera reported at least six explosions on Qeshm Island, 7 to 9 strikes around Sirik Port, and at least 10 explosions in Bandar Abbas, where several wharfs and a telecommunications tower were reportedly targeted.
➤ Iran’s Khatam-al-Anbiya Central Headquarters condemned the strikes as a “blatant act of aggression,” saying they occurred during the funeral procession of Iran’s former supreme leader in Iraq, and warned Iran’s military will deliver a “crushing response.”
➤ The military also declared it will not allow outside interference in the Strait of Hormuz, saying the only safe passage for commercial vessels and oil tankers is the route designated by Iran.
➤ Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said the U.S. revocation of the Iranian oil export waiver and the strikes violate Articles 1, 2 and 10 of the Islamabad MoU, warning Iran will take “decisive actions” to protect its national interests and security.
➤ Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf accused Washington of repeatedly violating the agreement, citing U.S. strikes on southern Iran, renewed oil sanctions, threats of further attacks, interference in the Strait of Hormuz, and continued Israeli attacks in Lebanon. He said: “The era of bullying and extortion is over. It leads nowhere. We don’t fold.”
