Here’s the hard truth to all my creatives and smallbiz owners: For many of you it’s gonna take YEARS of being exceptional before income flow follows. This is the proving ground season many unfortunately give up on. DON’T GIVE UP! Keep getting better and watch the finances follow.
“What are we losing by clinging to our comfort? What are we missing out on because we’re so committed to avoiding pain and discomfort?” @craiggroeschel#dangerousprayers
It has been my experience that my greatest seasons of growth have come during my greatest seasons of pain.
DATING ADVICE:
Keep your standards HIGH and your expectations LOW. Don’t romanticize the idea of relationships that you lower your standards, ignoring clear red flags or raise your expectations so high you dismiss a great person at the sign of humanity.
DATING ADVICE
Make health, not passion the thing you look for the most in relationships. Often, the passion we indulge in will be the toxicity that erodes the relationship. Here’s what I’ve seen: Healthy people are passionate but not every passionate person is healthy!
Today is “Maundy Thursday”. It was the night of the Last Supper and where Jesus prayed to the Father. Jesus chose to spend His last night before the crucifixion with God and friends. Today is a reminder that in our darkest moments we need the company of God and friendships. ✝️❤️
So grateful for all the incredible women who have led, mentored and shaped my faith through out the years and for those who continue to do so. Your leadership is so vital. #WomensHistoryMonth
Working on next month’s series on Evangelism…
In 1993, 89% of Christians who had shared their faith agreed this is a responsibility of every Christian. Today, just 64% say so—a 25-point drop. https://t.co/wSRgjfSWAH via @barnagroup
Tiredness will trick you into thinking you are powerless. Don’t let burnout steal your potential. Sometimes our “I want to quit!” cry really means, “I need a break!”.

Jesus reminds us in John 8:31-56 that:
We cannot make idols out of individuals. Abraham was a STANDARD of faith not the SOURCE of their faith.
Part of our spiritual growth is resisting to put pastors in pedestals. We do not belong there!
There’s a famous illustration to describe unforgiveness: “Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting another person to die”; it will always cause much greater harm to us than the person we refuse to forgive.
“Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”
- Proverbs 13:20
“Surround yourself with people who add wisdom but don’t subtract love, acceptance, and purpose.” - @bobgoff
If the goal of helping others or doing outreach initiatives is to build our brand then we are missing the mark. As disciples of Jesus our goal is to point people to Him, not to us. We should be ok with people forgetting our church’s name but never forgetting seeing Jesus in us.
Steer clear of two phrases: “you always” and “you never”. It’s not so much that these “never” and “always” statements probably aren’t true. It’s more that people who love each other shouldn’t use words like weapons. @bobgoff
