The most influential individuals of all time are arguably Muhammad and Jesus.

If Muhammad was not a real prophet, why would God allow him to exact such incredible influence? Why would he let him mislead so many humans?

If Jesus said “By their fruits you’ll know them” doesn’t this imply that there will be true prophets amid the false ones?

Thus, the clearest example of a true prophet is Muhammad, his fruits are pretty clear to everyone. We’d expect a true prophet to have incredible lasting influence.

It's just general liar psychology, if a liar is accused directly of something that he's actually doing, then they usually try to hide it or talk over it as opposed to address it head on.

Ofc that's just one small piece of the puzzle. You can omit that part. The "Lair" hypothesis would still be weak.

The fact that the Qur'an records a lot of these negative accusations is some evidence for sincerity.

You can make them about any evidence of any miracle claim of any religion.

That's just my opinion, but you don't need volumes of books.

You should write as if your target audience is skeptical.

That means only presenting things that they can't just dismiss as "thats just your tradition and i have no reason to trust it"

After this steelman whatever objections you think they can come up with. If your argument genuinely survives them all then it's strong and worth adding. If it doesn't then it's not worthy of adding.

This alone will cut down your whole case and only focus it on the strongest evidence that can be presented to a non-Muslim.
