@MattWelch before we descend into electoral madness I want you to know at least one listener enjoyed the excellent Watership Down reference that went unacknowledged a few weeks ago on the round-table (Harris experiencing "Tharn").
That is all.
See you on the other side (?) 🫡
@nickgillespie What is the libertarian upside for the president being off the hook if they want to order mass execution of dissidents or start a military coup? Other branches checking that power is part of the design, no?
@kmanguward The perfect encapsulation of this is the episode where there is a surplus and Josh tells Donna they can't give it back to the tax payers because they "might not spend it right"
@kmanguward any chance you’ll indulge us with your case on how The West Wing helped create the current sociopolitical timeline (hellscape)? Sounds like a fun ride (Just finishing up the Roundtable where it‘s mentioned in passing).

@galosgann@mbeisen Ah, so from the PIs perspective, not the Unis. That makes sense, thank you.

Why is that when you say "I believe we must legalize/decriminalize all drugs," every single person follows up by asking "Even heroin?" Bitch. What do you think "all" means?
@ABitMorePod I think the tenor of the show lends itself to good faith inquiry about the topics so it seems like a natural fit. I will continue to follow and would be open to potentially engaging with the community as it evolves.
