"Extremes on both sides of politics are bad."
I've never met a single person in real like who advocates for the dissolution of the state and living in a barter economy. But my ballot was FULL of people who want abortion, same sex marriage, and "CRT" banned. So, probably not.
I was raised in a Pentecostal church. Bounced around to a few non-denoms. Spent my late teens and 20s in a Baptist church. Did a stint as an interim preacher for a Methodist church. I can tell you with certainty that these people are coming for your rights. Get involved. Now.
If @elonmusk really wants to take managing a social media platform seriously, rather than holding Twitter as some sort of trophy, he'll start there. Bring back engagement. Stop prioritising ad revenue over the functional purpose of the platform.
I started this account 2 years ago. Now, with 1,500 followers, Twitter shows my posts to less people than it did when I had a tenth of the followers. In recent weeks, every 3 to 4 posts on my feed have been ads.
I honestly can't see any long term viability in a company that abandons it's platform of engagement in favor of endless ad scrolling. It's like a TV channel that only plays commercials.
It definitely checks out that conservative Christians think liberals are going to he'll for being "socialists", but think they're gonna kick it with Jeffery Dahmer in heaven because he said the magic spell. I think it's a perfect summary of Evangelicalism.
Vote. No, I don't want to hear it.

Yes it does. Maybe not all by it's little lonesome. But when millions of people resign to thinking it doesn't matter, elections are won by the minority. And our conservative minority sucks hard. Go vote.
Look, it's nothing personal, but I don't think I'm going to take life advice from people who teach their young to devour the flesh and blood of a zombie demi god so they get to go to the Magic Kingdom when he comes back to burn everyone else alive. Thanks though...
