Mum, I was on stage this week π³π
Incredibly proud to represent the teams at cinch (past and present from 2019) to tell the @cinchuk story.
Thanks to @edjgeek for being such an inspiring host, @em__shea for being such an awesome co-speaker π

Are the 3 things I would almost always recommend to any company.
@benjamenpyle has kindly offered a comprehensive blog post for RUM.
You might not have time to read it, bookmark it for when you do need it (because you will need it)
Aaaaand make it repeatable and get good at it as an organisation.
β Do we need more than one team?
β Will we benefit from people from more than one team be involved?
Overall, it's been an incredible experience so far. There are a few things that need improvement and a bit more thinking, but I don' think any of them are a show stopper (unless the models stop getting better or even get worse)
Alright. It's been a week with @cursor_ai now. Here are some early observations/signals (only three!).
I have this feeling that the future is here. Or the step improvement happened a couple of years ago, and now we are reaping the benefits.
Side note: using Composer is π€―
3οΈβ£ Learning: I've learned loads in the process and gloss over things I don't think are important.
What I find intriguing is that testing & observability are even more critical now, not less. You still need to verify your code both in dev and live. And you want to automate that.
I've been working on a set of getting started examples for adding observability to your serverless applications with Datadog. Examples for .NET, in Terraform, SAM and the CDK just merged.

This is what caught my eye with @Cloudflare workers in the first place. Performance is - as @plantpowerjames says - off the charts.
Anyone used them for APIs as a core part of their stack yet?
The first video in my new series on building serverless applications with @Cloudflare Workers is coming later today. Here is a little sneak peek at just how good the performance is.

@JordanFinners@Cloudflare@plantpowerjames@boristane I just used them for a form on my personal website, storing the data and returning it, when needed. This one is a βsubscribeβ to my blog posts form. But it was one of those that I wanted to explore the tech more than I needed the feature.
