Garly is a personal safety app designed to provide an extra layer of support when something may be wrong.

Protect Mode can be activated manually, scheduled for specific times, or triggered when entering a user-defined risk area.

While active, Garly uses approved phone signals such as GPS, accelerometer and gyroscope data to look for unusual movement, sudden impacts, route changes or unexpected stops.

If multiple warning signs appear, Garly can check in with the user. If there is no response or the configured threshold is reached, it can alert trusted contacts and share the user’s location.

Garly does not claim to identify violence with certainty and does not replace emergency services. Its purpose is to create one more chance for someone to be noticed, located and helped.

We’ve thought it over and we believe the best solution is to let users adjust the sensitivity of the accelerometer and gyroscope. We also need to consider that many people may be jogging, so the system has to be able to distinguish that type of movement as well. This is one of the next updates we plan to implement

We will invite them to test the live product, share feedback and help us understand where Garly can be genuinely useful. We also plan to work with safety educators and creators who can explain the product in an honest and practical way. We will not claim partnerships before they exist. Trust and adoption will come from transparent testing, useful feedback and real community involvement
