Same canada where families are neck deep in credit card debts? Where survival is largely hinged on credits?

Same canada? Everything that’s given back is being funded by the taxes of people, it’s not a free gift.

See the drama that ensued both political and religiously when it was time to enact a new tax law in Nigeria. A law that supposedly protected the lower class from taxation, yet it was fought against. How exactly is revenue supposed to created for all those welfare programs?

This was the mentality that Buhari had that he continued to subsidize everything, even if it meant borrowing for it, printing money for it, and using our future earnings from oil as collateral. All to ensure Nigerians don’t “suffer”.

What was the outcome? An economy driven to comatose and ruins. Ironically, the same people he wanted to help called him wicked and heartless.

Please, allow us to grow and get to our destination. These countries didn’t just become what they are overnight. There’s more work to be done, yes. The leaders can do a whole lot better, yes.

But, without a stable economy, nothing can be achieved.

The NGO bill is not a dangerous bill.
If your NGO work is genuine, why are you afraid of registration?
Why are you afraid of disclosing your donors and publishing your audit? Only those with something to hide will oppose the bill.

Nigeria is one of the largest recipients of aid in the world. Many NGO’s gets grants for health, education and humanitarian response and most of the money disappears into private pockets under the guise of charity.

The bill will close the loopholes for money laundering and terrorism financing.

Iron scavenging (Bolar Bolar) has to be criminalized at this point of madness that they have reached. They are damaging critical public infrastructure and trespassing into restricted areas, all in the name of scavenging. It has become an organized crime ring.

I just saw a shocking video of these criminals damaging a newly constructed bridge in Lagos to steal the iron rebar.

In Abeokuta, the 6ft tall, 150meter long iron barricade wall at Panseke (which restricts pedestrians to the bridge) is being cut down every night, and I believe they sell it. They are now halfway through it.

They are also quietly cutting away same iron barricades at Iyana Mortuary, Itoku, Kuto etc. Every morning, you notice a chunk of the wall is gone.

The iron barrier that protects vehicles on the Akin Olugbade bridge from veering into the Ogun river has been completely removed.

Every street, every corner, and every morning, you find them digging into people’s wastes uninvited, making a mess.

We need to come together and end this thing!

At their absolute prime, I’d take Iniesta as the better central midfielder, but it’s extremely close.

Iniesta had a level of press resistance, ball carrying, close control and manipulation of space that was crazy. He could receive under pressure, eliminate a player, carry the ball through the next line and then create something. His ability to control the rhythm of a game while also being a genuine progression threat is what gives him the edge for me.

Modric, though, was arguably the more complete midfielder. His passing range, defensive work, ability to dictate tempo, switching of play and longevity at the highest level give him a very strong case. He could operate deeper and influence virtually every phase of the game.

The distinction for me is:
