An Integrated Module Performs Selective 'Online' Epoxidation in the Biosynthesis of the Antibiotic Mupirocin (Matthew P. Crump and co-workers) @Willis_Group#openaccess https://t.co/ormNOTBdDG
Thank you @ChemistryWorld for this opportunity! It was great being able to discuss the transferable skills gained from being on the @BCS_CDT Bristol-Syngenta Award committee during my PhD.
During a PhD it can feel like research should be your sole focus, but gaining transferable skills like communication and organisation is important no matter your career plans. From outreach to event planning, here are some extracurricular ways to help.

Recently out by our group in @angew_chem is solving the latest part of the mupirocin biosynthesis puzzle - involving an on-line epoxidation step. This was a collaboration with Prof Matt Crump’s group at Bristol. Well done to all involved!

Honoured to have won the best poster prize at #CBNP15 and have had a great time presenting work at #DBVI too. All of the posters and talks were fantastic and I have learned so much from this experience.
@sacha_charlton and @apphillips98 have had a great time in Edinburgh at #DBVI and #CBNP15 presenting their work. Congratulations to previous group member Angus Weir for his presentation runner-up prize and to Annabel for winning the best poster prize at CBNP!
Another busy day on the urban allotment sees the repotting of our Ohnivec chilli plants - great work @harcourt_josie and @apphillips98.
Look how they've grown, ¡madre mia! Anyone in @BristolChem, feel free to help yourselves, we are on the 3rd floor of the SCB!

Some lovely photos of @apphillips98 from her (much delayed/covid-postponed) graduation last week ft. Amy and Elise from the Crump Group! Congrats Annabel!
