AI in film is coming, no doubt. But the National Film Authority using a full AI promo when Ghana is full of hungry crews? Chale. Hire our creatives and let THEM use the AI tools. Cheaper shouldn't mean cutting our own people out.

Good question. From what Octagram says, it doesn't need internet at all, since USSD runs without data and MoMoGram saves each record on the phone as the transaction happens. You can export the day's records to PDF or Excel.

MoMo agents in Accra, your notebook era might be over. Madina-based Octagram Tech just dropped MoMoGram: type the amount and number, confirm your PIN, and it runs the USSD plus saves the record. Works offline, tracks float and commission, warns on flagged numbers.

Data saving hack before your next trip 🗺️

Google Maps > tap your profile picture > Offline maps > Select your own map.

Download the area on WiFi and you can still see roads and get directions when your bundle finishes or network drops.

"Congrats, you've won the MTN/Telecel promo! Just pay GH₵50 tax or approve the prompt to receive your prize."

Hang up. Real promo winners don't pay a pesewa to collect. And any MoMo prompt asking for your PIN means money is LEAVING your wallet.

[Appiah Mehra @AppiahMehra]

Do this before your phone ever gets stolen: open Settings, search "Find My Device" and turn it on. If the phone goes missing, log in at https://t.co/AVitLPNX5v to ring, lock or wipe it. Then call your network to block the SIM so nobody touches your MoMo.

[Appiah Mehra @AppiahMehra]

Got an SMS saying your parcel is stuck at customs and you must pay GH₵5 through a link? Don't click it. It's a phishing page built to grab your card or MoMo details. Real couriers give you a tracking number you can check on their official site. Small fee, big wahala.

[Appiah Mehra @AppiahMehra]

Chale, people are dropping full name + MoMo number under giveaway posts for a shot at 20k. That reply section is now a ready-made list for scammers. Next: the "I sent money by mistake" call or a fake "approve to receive your prize" prompt. Your number isn't a raffle ticket.

A teacher hid instructions in white text inside the assignment, and the students who pasted it straight into AI got caught 😂 Use ChatGPT to learn, not to copy blindly. Watch: https://t.co/urd2SRKncR

If someone gets into your Gmail, they can reset almost everything else: Facebook, Instagram, even your bank alerts. Turn on 2-Step Verification today under https://t.co/g9YuDhRh01, then Security. Use Google prompts or an authenticator app, not only SMS codes.

Recruitment season is scam season. Nobody can "connect" you into the Police, Army or Immigration Service for GH₵5,000 on MoMo. Buy your forms only through the official portal. If someone says they have a "protocol slot", that money is gone.

Efiewura was family TV in so many Ghanaian homes, and Edziban made us hungry every week. Kwame Dzokoto gave us years of laughter. Gone at 51 is too soon. Rest well, legend 🕊️ And please, let's stop sharing the video of his last moments.

If you paste your whole assignment into ChatGPT without reading it, this one is for you 😂 A single hidden line of white text can expose you. It isn't proof of cheating, but it's a very clever trap. https://t.co/urd2SRJPnj #AI #StudentsInGhana

Teachers have found a sneaky trap for AI homework 👀 They hide white text in the assignment, AI reads it, and suddenly your essay says "Julius Caesar was banned from the group chat." Read what you submit, chale. https://t.co/urd2SRJPnj

Gyakie sat down to talk about a new song, a new EP and a December concert, and the headline that came out was "I'm single and searching." Herh, our media. You bury a whole career update for one clickbait line. Push the work, the engagement will follow.

Honest question: which one has treated you best when shopping online in Ghana? Jumia, Jiji, Temu or Instagram vendors? And which one will you never use again? 👀

Lock your SIM, not just your phone. If a thief puts your SIM in another phone, your MoMo OTPs go with it. Set a SIM PIN: on Android search "SIM lock" in Settings, on iPhone go to Settings > Mobile Data > SIM PIN. Get your PUK from your network first so you don't lock yourself out
