Narrated Abū Masʿūd al-Anṣārī: The Prophet ﷺ said,
"If one recites the last two verses of Sūrah al-Baqarah at night, it is sufficient for him (for that night)."

An old woman once came to the Prophet (s.a.w) and said, “O Messenger of Allah, make duʿā that Allah admits me into Jannah.”

The Prophet (s.a.w) replied with a smile, “No old woman will enter Jannah.”

The woman became sad and began to leave. Seeing this, the Prophet (s.a.w) smiled and explained that no one will enter Jannah as an old person, Allah will make everyone young again.

Then he recited the meaning of the verse that the people of Paradise will be created anew.

The companions around him also smiled at this gentle and kind humor.

This shows that the Prophet (s.a.w) had the most beautiful character, he would smile, joke truthfully, and bring happiness to people’s hearts. 😊
