@ChenderClaudia @TimHoustonNS @nspc This is not the only practice that asked for help. Dr. S at Hammonds Plains clinic asked for help in finding someone to take over her practice a year ago. It's unfortunate that we are denied GPs, yet the government can buy a hotel? Start with what is broken and needed. GPs.

@taxed2deathinNS @CTVAtlantic Dr's. Only get paid when they see patients. It's fee for service, so going from 40 pts to 20 is not feasible. Their overhead cost don't get reduced because they cut back to 20pts. We have specialists out there making close to 1 million, the difference is staggering.

@TimHoustonNS @zachchurchill most people need more indept health care for more complicated health issues. I truly beleive u need to get GPs on the ground now, perhaps we will stop begging u for what we are paying for & not receiving. Your adding programs that cost, put that money toward GPs

This is unacceptable & @TimHoustonNS @zachchurchill set up a meeting with these docs to see what you can do to help them. I'm sicken by all of this, we are desperate for a GP in Hammonds Plains.

@kempthead @sarahkatemarsh @SabrinaSally5 @TimHoustonNS They are under paid, they are fee for service and MSI disputes claims. GPs, don't make what specialist make, its sad really. Offer them each $ to cover administrative fees for their offices. Houston did it with Pharmacys. The GPs might make 100,000 a year after expenses.
