The mh field is attempting to be at the forefront of processing events, while continuously missing opportunities to gain the wisdom from BIPOC communities outside of crisis that would provide a better supportive foundation while in crisis.

The field has produced tons of evidence-based treatment under a colorblind philosophy, even though we know with our OWN research that this is ineffective. Now we're processing a wake of racially traumatic events, during the anniversary of racially traumatic events, and words fail

@dralfiee @teehod1982 I think many of us find value in the model because of potential that 3rd wave behaviorism has for seeing reality as it is, building life worth living based on our own values and not prescribed/colonized ones, and the need for systemic change as dialectic 4 status quo
