@SHL0MS@TylerAlterman It feels like you have to be able to work with emotions at least a little bit to get anything done, no? Are we just going to be sending pdfs to everyone?
@Robin_Claassen1@R_YayOFFICIAL No? I'm giving feedback so that if he wants to he can improve. He is at a camp right now that has one of its goals being to improve at content creation.
@michellmybell1@Catholicizm1 Also just much more atomized and psychopathic in general, and much less rewarding in relation to necessities like housing and medical care than it once was
@michellmybell1@Catholicizm1 It's mostly easier. The harder parts are that work today involves a lot more moral injury, preference falsification, and dynamics that we might associate with the feminization of the workplace to use stereotypical language.
@michellmybell1@Catholicizm1 Like you could argue that the reason we have cancel culture is because work is now much more a result of maintaining access to a social privilege rather than having valuable skills. People in blue collar work are more outspoken and right-wing because they can be.
@michellmybell1@Catholicizm1 Preference falsification in a similar way meaning that you might have to have a persona to succeed, post on LinkedIn, talk about how much you love spreadsheets etc.
@michellmybell1@Catholicizm1 Moral injury meaning you're more often in situations where you're expected to lie for the sake of the company or your superiors.
@michellmybell1@Catholicizm1 It does help if you like your kids, if you read listen by patty wipfler, that should help a lot, and so will your motherly vitality
@michellmybell1@Catholicizm1 Being a stay at home mother has definitely gotten easier as well. Order grocery pickup, throw shit in the instant pot, throw shit in the bread maker, kick the roomba, hang out with your mom friends all day. Making a pot roast nowadays or broth is honestly nothing so damn quick
