Visiting @GatewayCollegeL for their cultural day to speak about displacement, refugees and asylum seekers. Such sad state of affairs on how our government has made life so difficult for the people already traumatised by war, oppression and injustice but when they get here. The govt wants to dehumanise and criminalise them for seeking protection. People being used as political tools and scapegoats for the problems of society. The media and politicians does a good job creating unnecessary fear and hatred against refugees.
