Our 2020 laureate Professor Carl Wieman is expanding the impact of @PhETsims globally and improving the quality of science education using his Yidan Prize project funding. Stay tuned for our #2021YidanPrize announcement! More about Carls initiative: https://t.co/5BhBmB3XxS
We JUST release a prototype version of the first screen of our #HTML5 greenhouse effect sim!!
More screens to come, but this model uses a wave representation and an energy balance meter to look at concepts related to radiative balance.
Check it out!

@MrPtheScienceT@emc2andallthat The @PhETsims circuit simulation is brilliantly clear https://t.co/ejTQK1S2E7. You can make it look like wires or a schematic. You could follow this up with a table top demonstration with a cell and few lamps.
Coefficients, Subscripts, Reactions, Oh My!
Have you balanced a chemical equation today? Our sim can be a perfect resource for helping students understand the concept in an engaging online format!

Mars is closer than you think!
This 3D visualization is based on the images taken by the Mastcam-Z instrument aboard @NASAPersevere#Mars2020#Perseverance
Mainly common sense, but this is a nicely written summary of why those questions you get during online tutoring or teaching are so valuable. Thank you @SimpliTeach.
Today, make sure you enjoy any benefits you find in remote teaching. Also look forward to the things you enjoy about returning to the classroom next week. Leave the negative side of both behind! Have a good day. #remotelearning
New story: For new high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, Apple indeed plans return of MagSafe, the end of the Touch Bar (finally), brighter screens, minor design changes, next-gen M-series chips and more. Launch around mid-2021. https://t.co/eL3r06oexW
Biology T's have you seen our new #HTML5 version of Natural Selection yet?? Made to work seamlessly on your iPads or Chromebooks!

@MrShawePhysics It is an interesting question can be argued both sides.
The conventional order seems to have logical basis, arguably.
Current first seems advantage math/abstract background needed.
Where I taught before retirement, do current first, even though text did it conventionally.
Looking for quality #remoteLearning alternatives for teaching about springs, Hooke's law, and elastic potential energy? We have you covered.
You will love all the features of our #HTML5 Masses and Springs!
