Delhi Traffic beat me totally. Read below how.

Total cost : Rs 5200 (Rs 1030 Official Fees) + Official Fees (Rs 400)

Applied for change of address on 09 Apr 26. Application was scrutinized but no action after that for 20 days. Since its mentioned the process is faceless and no need to visit the RTO.

However panic set in. As I have heard IDP can take up to 1 month to process.

feedback from known people - Sir 30-60 days lagte hae because load bohot hae unke upar (LOL).

Spoke to an Agent. Said file doesn't move unless they get something.

Visiting was not an option as it was 23 kms in Delhi Traffic. Even 3 trips would have taken 138kms and atleast 9 hrs of commute on 3 days (info from friends)

Again spoke to an agent on 29 April. He said DL dispatch will cost Rs 1200. IDP normally will cost 1600-1700 but will take 30 days. Premium Service from RTO will take 1 day and it will be dispatched the next day. Everything completed and done on 07 May 26. Portered the IDP by someone from the RTO for RS 313 only.

How this faceless process have changed to a bane process? well with local RTO's we can visit the nearby RTO and resolve any issues. With this single RTO on the far end of the city in Delhi there is no energy left.

However IDP and DL secured 2 weeks before the trip.

I mean, it's a clear case of false marketing and miselling tactics which are violating @RBI rules.

Its part of Premier Account and not Premier card. You'll even get the services even if you don't hold the card.
