When I first moved here, I'd get confused about the district Viennese districts (is it 01 or Innere Stadt?!), but now I see (and love) the organisation. Also, most people just use the numbers anyways.

@Natascha_Strobl had one of the best (gut-wrenching, really) comments, saying this is how you can recognise a racist. It doesn't matter what the migrant does. If they get unemployment benefits? Bad migrants, 'abusing us'. If they are successful? Bad migrants, 'taking over us'

This is brilliant. A right-wing politician in Austria stood by a popular (and amazing) Viennese market, the Brunnenmarkt in the 16 district, and appealed: "let us not lose our Vienna", complaining that the stalls are run by immigrants (+)

of course, he wasn't complaining they were run by Germans, or Italians, or Spanish. He specifically mentioned "Syrians, Afghans, Arabs" that had "taken over". One of them, he said, even had five stalls and had the money to buy another! (+)
