Forgive me but there is only one person on this stage who is at full capacity and has been fighting for the very thing we so desperately need his whole life

For all the talk of toxic supporters, Biden Democrats have sent a loud scornful message to the people demanding urgent action on health care, student debt, climate and many other issues that their voices don’t matter. That’s the tone. Scorn. Mock. Shame. People won’t forget it.

Under the current system there is already a 2% Medicare tax on the whole 31k =$620. Private Insurance premiums are usually anywhere between 10-20% (we'll go low with 10%)= $3,100. This doesn't even factor in co-pays, deductibles, prescriptions, dental or vision.

Under Bernie's plan the first 29k is tax free. If the salary is 31k only 2k would be taxed at 4% =$80. That's it, no premiums, no deductibles, no co-pays and a $200 cap on prescriptions. And this covers medical, dental and vision.
"I said this to President Castro in Cuba. Look you've made great progress in educating young people...Medical care. The life expectancy of Cubans is equivalent to the United States despite it being a very poor country because they have access to health care." – President Obama
@LARRYOK1035 Great question. I'm not sure what percentage of income you personally currently pay. Bernie's plan would be a tax of 4% income above $30,000. No premiums, no deductables, no co-pays & limits prescription cost to $200/year. It also EXPANDS current Medicare to cover dental vision.
