Punjab CM @BhagwantMann attended today’s special Vidhan Sabha session on Labour Day in an inebriated state.

This is a serious breach of decorum in the Temple of Democracy and a grave insult to the people of Punjab who elected him.

A habitual drunkard, he has repeatedly been guilty of similar misconduct on many occasions in the past:
▪️ At Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, Talwandi Sabo
▪️ On the Bargari Morcha stage, in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji
▪️ During Lok Sabha proceedings in Parliament, where his colleagues lodged a formal complaint with the Speaker
▪️ Deboarded from a flight to Germany for being heavily drunk

Notably, this “Master Ji Da Munda” publicly swore on his mother’s head to quit drinking — a vow he has broken with impunity.

Bhagwant Mann has now lost all moral authority to hold office. He must resign immediately.

You sowed corruption.
You sowed moneybags.
You sowed opportunists.
You sowed outsiders.

Yesterday’s development is a direct outcome of your betrayal of Punjabis — by preferring corrupt outsiders and moneybags over your volunteers and people of the State.

Chief minister @BhagwantMann should stop doing dramas in the name of special sessions.
Now he has called a special session to enact an anti-sacrilege law.
He should know that the erstwhile @Akali_Dal_ govt had enacted this law and that it stipulated life sentence to anyone committing sacrilege against Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. The law is yet to be ratified by the Centre.
Instead of indulging in a drama on this sensitive issue, the chief minister should take up this matter with the central govt and get the law passed.

It is most shocking to know that Union Transport and Highways Minister @nitin_gadkari has written to Punjab CM to either improve Law and Order situation in the state or NHAI will be forced to cancel 8 projects worth Rs. 14288 crore. Already 3 projects worth Rs. 3263 crore have been cancelled and 4 others worth Rs. 4 thousand crores are under consideration for cancellation.
Under @BhagwantMann 's leadership, Punjab's law and order has spilled out of control, directly threatening critical National Highway projects. Contractors are pulling out, citing safety concerns and unresolved land acquisition issues, stalling development across the state. Despite repeated warnings, including assaults on engineers and project sites being attacked, the state government has failed to take decisive action. This negligence is not just a failure of governance—it's putting Punjab's infrastructure and future at risk.
A failed CM, A failed HM and failed Jail Minister Bhagwant Mann is proving too costly for Punjab.

▪️Shiromani Akali Dal to hold 3 day Delegate Session at Anandpur Sahib in November to discuss all important issues related to Punjab and then prepare long term future agenda of the party.

▪️Working Committee and Core Committee decided to hold political conferences on:

📍August 15: At Isru village to commemorate the martyrdom of Shaheed Karnail Singh Isru
📍August 19: At Baba Bakala on the occasion of Rakhar Punya
📍August 20: At Longowal to commemorate the death anniversary of Sant Harchand Singh Longowal.

▪️Party president S Sukhbir Singh Badal took strong notice of the political vendetta being unleashed against S. Bikram S Majithia by AAP govt. The party expressed complete solidarity with S. Majithia.

▪️Both the Committees confirmed all the decisions taken by the disciplinary committee of the party on July 30 and August 1 under which some leaders were expelled from the party for indulging in anti-party activities.

▪️Both Committees gave approval to party President to fill up the vacancies created in the Working Committee due to the death of some members as well as those who had either left the party or had been expelled.

▪️The party will contest all four forthcoming by-elections with full energy. The observers and co-observers for these constituencies will be announced shortly.
