@GregHuntMP Great work Minister Hunt. 20 sessions will make such a difference to people accessing psychology services. Being able to offer an increase in sessions that match the evidence base will stop the revolving door effect. We will be able to better support people to fully revcover.
The APS is pleased to announce that the 2020 Federal Budget includes a doubling of the number of Medicare-funded psychology sessions for all Australians regardless of location, for an initial 2 year period. This follows years of APS advocacy. More to come.
