The documentary features insights from theorists, philosophers, linguists, a neuropsychologist, and a football coach, highlighting the parallels between the game and life.

Synopsis:
"Working Class Ballet" presents football as an intricate performance blending sport and societal reflection. From countryside fans to grand championship events, it portrays football as a metaphor for life's drama, intensity, and connection to modern society.

Challenge:
To create a nuanced, alternative portrayal of football as a deeply resonant cultural phenomenon rather than mere entertainment.

Solution:
I wove symbols from the physicality of football, the elegance of dance, and the strategy of chess, among others, to show the film’s layered narrative.

"The Brazen" is a psychological horror-drama that delves into the unsettling dynamics of family bonds, past traumas, and the harrowing psychological depths that emerge from their entanglements.

Synopsis:
When Helena returns to her late entomologist father’s secluded summer house to revive her career in dance, an eerie insect infestation compels her and her family to confront the dark shadows of a shared tragedy lurking in their past.

Challenge:
The main challenge was to emphasize each character while showing, through symbolism, how they are entangled in complicated relationships.

Solution:
With the film’s horror elements centered around insects seemingly tied to Helena’s father’s entomology collection, I envisioned these insects as manifestations of the family’s entangled history, creeping from forgotten corners of their past. A traditional entomology display became the key visual metaphor—each family member, symbolically pinned like specimens, trapped together under glass. Given the absence of necessary film stills, I meticulously crafted each pose and composition using Photoshop and 3D to evoke the atmosphere and depth the story demands.

Synopsis:
In "LOTUS", set in 1919, noblewoman Alise Fon Trota returns to Latvia, wounded yet resolute in her quest to restore her family estate. Entangled in the enigmatic “Viva La Mort” society, she delves into avant-garde art and cinema, discovering her voice within Latvia’s nascent film industry. Her self-made film, "LOTUS", emerges as a bold expression of identity amid cultural and political upheaval.

Challenge:
Signe envisioned a poster that would capture the story’s intricate narrative through an illustrated portrayal of its central characters. The challenge was to convey the film’s genre-defying essence, to intrigue potential viewers with character depictions, and to unite these diverse figures into a cohesive and stylistically consistent design.

Solution:
I designed a vintage collage of comic-style illustrations featuring ten distinct characters, each capturing the film's genre-blending intrigue and surreal charm. The poster’s rich ensemble reflects "Lotus"’s unpredictable nature—too complex to label, yet undeniably captivating. The vintage comic style was chosen to evoke a sense of timelessness and grit, immersing viewers in the film’s frenetic, layered world without revealing too much, drawing them into "Lotus"'s wild, uncharted depths.

When Roberts approached me, he envisioned a Coat of Arms for their 25th anniversary. The challenge lay in conveying their stature as a trusted rental company with a quarter century of experience.

Solution:
I replaced traditional Coat of Arms attributes with filming equipment and services that embody trust, power, and speed, crafting a creative, contemporary twist on the vintage emblem infused with a touch of self-irony and grandeur.
