Succession. It’s the best show of the decade. It’s also arguably the best thing HBO’s ever done behind The Sopranos. The rewatch value of this show is enormous because the cast, writing, and direction is perfect. Emphasis on “perfect”. It’s is a true once-in-a-lifetime show.
The saddest thing about society is that people seem almost surprised by Robertson’s post-match interview. That’s the reality of this world we live in - you can be walking around broken inside, fighting like hell to keep it together, while everyone else carries on with their expectations sky-high as normal.
It’s no different from any other walk of life, except this is happening at the highest level, on camera, with nowhere to hide. Robbo’s interview is a timely reminder that these “superstars” are human beings first.
🏴🗣️ Harry Kane on his position vs Borussia Dortmund: "Today was more midfield. Probably 6, 8 and 10! I enjoy it. Different side of my game." (@archiert1/@ESPNFC)
Harry Kane is the best in the world man. He’s our striker and he’s doing Cruyff turns in our own half to get us out of pressure, playing long balls like a 6. Playing in between the likes like a #10 and still finishing our chances like a 9. He is the Messi of European football. The real Ballond’Or
I loved Lewandowski so much when he was a Bayern player and I’m always grateful for his time at the club but I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that Harry Kane is simply a much better player. He wins duels like a center-back, turns in our midfield to get us out of pressure like he’s Pedri or Thiago, he plays long balls like Alonso and launches counter attacks from weird angles like KDB, he plays in between the lines like a real number 10, and on top of all that he’s a top class number 9 with precise ball striking, AND he’s extremely selfless in the way he tracks back for his team OOP. He is the best player in the world. Words can’t explain how much I appreciate this player.
Sir Harold Kane thank you!! You are a player highly deserving of wearing the iconic red shirt of FC Bayern Munich.
