What is ‘TIMESTAMPS’?
▣ + ◉ =⏳
What if 7 exceptional artists, each referenced the core of Bitcoin for a new art collection
merging Ordinals and Runes?
‘TIMESTAMPS’ is a pioneering collaborative collection with a strong theme
Fun Fact: Satoshi Nakamoto referred to blockchain as ‘Timechain’ being that timestamping is a fundamental element of the technology itself
As a gesture to this, the ‘TIMESTAMPS’ collection explores how Bitcoin as an artistic medium, exploring the concept of TIME and what it means to create art on-chain
➢ To represent the stylistic variety of art on-chain, we selected artists with diverse backgrounds. What unifies them all is their dedication to innovation and impeccable skill
‘TIMESTAMPS’ is an artistic reference to the fundamentals of Bitcoin itself

The way the RSIC airdrop by @rune_coin was done is really neat and I hope airdropping to the Ordinals community becomes a trend but this type of marketing needs to be called out:
“This is the first ever rune on bitcoin”
It obviously is not the first Rune on Bitcoin and Casey has stated multiple times that no Runes are Runes until the protocol actually drops and a first Runes token is actually minted to the chain. I strongly dislike that RSIC is marketing itself in this way and especially dislike that it will mostly mislead “average” people in the Ordinals community who don’t spend the time to fully understand why a claim like this is blatantly false. No project should be making this claim until the Runes protocol is released and there is actually a first rune token on Bitcoin.
This is a clear red flag for me so I would advise people to be cautious and recommend the project drops the false claim.
