The PCPA vision will be updated to include the new remuneration situation but the overall ‘pharmacy team’ in #primarycarenetworks model remains the same - feels much closer this morning following announcements from @TheBMA and @NHSEngland https://t.co/BoueOHuSsR
Excellent recognition of what pharmacy technicians can contribute. Important not to destabilise current workforce but there are a few models that could be explored 2 ⬆️the numbers of trainees, not cap them. A PT can utilise new qual via levy and be registered in 2 years! @APTUK1
We have an opportunity to increase the Pharmacy Technician workforce now. We can ensure a sustainable future pipeline. @APTUK1 working with @HealthCareersUK@NHSEngland @NHS_HealthEdEng the profession is ready and able, let’s work together on the model and think big!!!
The @APTUK1 response to the recent Call for Evidence can be viewed on the website.

@EditorAPTUK1 @NHSSheffieldCCG @APTUK1 @cppeengland @NHSHEE_NEY @NannapatSusan@LivvyPalf@PharmacyBTECL4 Great idea, article would be great too, the 2nd year and the SYB ICS PT Network Event is going from strength to strength, with other areas interested in holding their own local events 👍
Today our Pharmacy Technicians are celebrating
#PharmacyTechnicianDay. Here's one of the team, Gwen, proudly wearing her @APTUK1 t-shirt in front of a display showcasing the team's work. Thank you to all of the talented pharmacy technicians across the country! #RxTechDay
