Before the pandemic, there was 1 person worth $100 billion. Now there are 10.
Before the pandemic, those 10 people were worth $650 billion. Now they are worth $1.4 trillion.
And the Senate is ready to shut down the government and deny vital services to avoid taxing them at all.
We get thousands of job applications but respond to every one because people spend the time to put together their submission and it seems only right.
If we can give people this basic decency with a very small HR team, what's your corporation's excuse?
Gave a much older man a business card at a gig 4 years ago (he was in the choir & requested one to contact for a possible upcoming job), & now he calls every 6-12 months to ask me on a date. A PSA: this is NOT an acceptable use of a business card. (Yes, he called today.)

1) Workers are always essential.
2) Healthcare is a basic right.

6) Billionaires aren't the answer.

Meanwhile, I'm not a district employee, just allowed in to teach (with background check), so if I push back too hard, I assume there is a possibility of losing my visitor privileges.
@shoemaker703 Steam, rest, and keep hydrating! Tea will make you feel better, but does not directly affect the folds since liquids go down the esophagus and not trachea...Also pineapple has a natural anti-inflammatory, bromelain. Feel better!
This, but with singing. And also any kind of creative work, I'd imagine. Nice to read and ponder this today, and step back to look at the bigger picture.
@ticketing_queen Also, I am also struggling and working towards prepping and eating better-for-me foods, especially when busy. Let me know if you want to swap recipes - maybe that can help both of us fight the good fight!
