There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.

एक महीने से भी अधिक समय पहले, मैंने इसी DCP को जंतर-मंतर के पास नाबालिग लड़कों के साथ मारपीट करने के मामले में सत्यम पंडित के खिलाफ एक लिखित शिकायत दी थी, लेकिन उसे कभी गिरफ्तार नहीं किया गया।

मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ जी द्वारा मौलाना मोहम्मद अली जौहर जी को भारत के विभाजन के लिए जिम्मेदार ठहराया जाना इतिहास के प्रति उनके अल्पज्ञान और स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के एक महान सेनानी के योगदान को राजनीतिक चश्मे से देखने का उदाहरण है।

मौलाना मोहम्मद अली जौहर जी अंग्रेजी हुकूमत के खिलाफ संघर्ष करने वाले महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानी, निर्भीक पत्रकार, शिक्षाविद और राष्ट्रवादी नेता थे। उन्होंने ब्रिटिश शासन के विरुद्ध मुखर होकर आवाज उठाई, जेल की यातनाएं सहीं और खिलाफत तथा असहयोग आंदोलन में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।

1930 में लंदन में आयोजित प्रथम गोलमेज सम्मेलन में उन्होंने भारत की स्वतंत्रता और स्वशासन की मांग मजबूती से उठाई। उन्होंने गुलाम भारत में लौटने से इनकार करते हुए आजादी के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता स्पष्ट की। 4 जनवरी 1931 को लंदन में उनका निधन हो गया।

इतिहास का एक महत्वपूर्ण तथ्य यह भी है कि मौलाना मोहम्मद अली जौहर जी के निधन के दो वर्ष बाद, 1933 में, पहली बार ‘Pakistan’ नाम के साथ एक अलग राष्ट्र के गठन का प्रस्ताव रखा गया।

ऐसे में 1931 में दुनिया छोड़ चुके मौलाना मोहम्मद अली जौहर जी को 1933 में सामने आए ‘Pakistan’ के प्रस्ताव और 1947 में हुए भारत के विभाजन के लिए जिम्मेदार ठहराना इतिहास की घटनाओं, उनके कालक्रम और उनके वास्तविक राजनीतिक योगदान तीनों की अनदेखी है।

इतिहास को राजनीतिक चश्मे से नहीं, तथ्यों और प्रमाणों के आधार पर पढ़ा जाना चाहिए।
