@Simone_Biles@Riley_Gaines_ Says a woman in an a sport that inherently favors a women’s body. It’s not your sport that’s at risk and it wasn’t your dream that was shattered, so please don’t demean those that are trying to protect what is rightfully theirs.
@RealPotatus @BirdingPeepWx @NWSNorman One there's lots of info why an overpass isn't a save place during a tornado but these people aren't hiding from a tornado, they're hiding from the hail, blocking traffic in poor visibility conditions and preventing the people behind them from seeking approbriate shelter.
@Target either open the self check out lanes or open more registers. Next time I’m going to set my shit down and leave - from the 15 people standing in line at the only open register.
@crw91383@AmyPeck @FireChiefofHFD @HoustonFire@FirefightersHOU Clearly, you’re not being directly effected by the fire. But thank god, there are finally excavators on site now working to put out the fire you claim can’t be extinguished.
@crw91383@AmyPeck @FireChiefofHFD @HoustonFire@FirefightersHOU Being able to do something about it and choosing not to do soemthing about it are too completely different things. The news is riddled with stories of mulch fire being successfully extinguished. If efforts had been started right away, this could have been taken care of by now.
@AmyPeck@HoustonFire @FireChiefofHFD @FirefightersHOU@SBISD@HoustonHealth If anyone in the neighboorhood really wants to know what's going on, get on Nextdoor where you can see what was really been doing to put the fire the out (nothing) and what the air quality really is like. Cars and houses covered in ash and people who can't go home.
@HoustonFire @FireChiefofHFD This situation is horrible!! Nothing is being done to put this fire out. It's being blowing directly over our homes for 3 days now. Those of us closest to fire have houses that are literally filled wall to wall with smoke.
@AmyPeck @FireChiefofHFD @HoustonFire@FirefightersHOU This isn't doing any good for those of us that are being directly effected by the smoke. It's been blowing heavy over our house for 3 days now. Our houses are literally full of smoke.
Flying back to California tonight, and normally, seeing Denver and Boulder out of the window is a comforting reminder of home where I grew up. Not tonight.
