I am a 50-something adoptee who was reunited with birth family. Finally feel that sense of belonging.
Bonus: obtaining native status designation
SO PROUD
Tomorrow it should be Harrison's 11th birthday, July 8th. In honour of my son I am posting memories and photos shared by his family and friends.
As a little brother, Harry enjoyed hanging around his Kuya Daniel quite a lot, which meant he got to know Daniel's friends. #kuya
***UPDATE***
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says a young man has died after his vehicle crashed into the back of a transport truck on the Niagara-bound QEW shortly after 6 a.m.
@CBCToronto He's appealing Judge Hennessy's ruling Robinson-Huron Treaty 1850. SHAME on him. Annual annuity has been $4 since 1874. Will be losing Indigenous votes next election.
@ONT_Dad These are not children. They are non compliant adults who have been told to find other accommodations numerous times. These are public parks maintained by taxpayers who feel threatened and therefore do not use these parks.
@ONT_Dad@TorontoPolice I agree. This is a public park for the public to leisurely enjoy. I wouldn't take any pleasure sing this park, especially if I had small children. I pay taxes for its upkeep and resent homeless people using as their home while there are other city/provincially supported options.
@TheSocialCTV The more of a big deal you make, the more the child will do it. It is cute. But, I think it may a respect thing to some, but, is not a deal breaker for me.
@TheSocialCTV I love flowers. In my home, Valentine's is celebrated every day. Not a dozen roses...a singular red is simply beautiful. A touch, a smile, the laundry folded, dishes done.
